Nominados a los Grammy 2013

Hace unas horas se presentaba en directo la ceremonia donde se anuncian quiénes son los nominados a los Premios Grammy 2013, y por una vez no hay ningún claro favorito en cuanto a número de nominaciones. Hay seis artistas que acumulan seis nominaciones: Frank Ocean, Fun., Kanye West, Jay-Z, The Black Keys y Mumford & Sons. ¡Qué alternativos se han puesto! Pues muy bien nos parece.

El disco del año precisamente está entre The Black Keys, Fun., Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean y también Jack White, que logra 3 nominaciones. En la grabación del año sorprende encontrar hasta 6 aspirantes, donde se cuelan Taylor Swift con 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' y Kelly Clarkson con 'Stronger', mientras que la canción del año está entre Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Fun., otra vez Kelly Clarkson y la incombustible 'Call Me Maybe'.

Como ves, el trío de one hit wonders del año obtiene varias nominaciones: Fun. son los que más posibilidades tienen de triunfar, pero 'Call Me Maybe' de Carly Rae Jepsen tiene 2 nominaciones (Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance) y Gotye se queda con 3. Entre lo más pop de los nominados, Kelly Clarkson se lleva 4 nominaciones, la mayoría por 'Stronger', Rihanna se queda con 3, Katy Perry con una por 'Wide Awake', y como Adele ya arrasó el año pasado, en esta ocasión la nominan con una actuación en directo de 'Set Fire To The Rain'. Así continúa la caída en credibilidad de los premios, tras nominar en 2011 un directo de Beyoncé (que por supuesto este año vuelve a estar nominada, claro). ¿El año que viene nominarán un directo de Cheryl o de Britney?

Seguimos analizando otras peculiaridades: los desaparecidos LMFAO consiguen una nominación, en dance no se cuela ningún artista pop como otros años y aspiran al premio Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia o Avicii. Nada de David Guetta en la lista, ni siquiera 'Titanium', aunque Sia consigue estar nominada gracias a 'Wild Ones' con Flo Rida. Los 5 mejores videoclips para los Grammy son 'Houdini' de Foster The People, 'No Church In The Wild' de Jay-Z & Kanye West con Frank Ocean y The-Dream, 'Bad Girls' de M.I.A., 'We Found Love' de Rihanna, y 'Run Boy Run' de Woodkid. Por mucho que nos guste el vídeo del tema de Calvin Harris, Woodkid debería ganar. ¿Ni una nominación para su amiga Lana Del Rey?
