Pese a que en los últimos años los Grammy han perdido gran parte del prestigio del que gozaban antaño, siguen siendo considerados por muchos como los premios más importantes de la industria de la música en el mundo entero. La academia revelaba hace unos días su lista de nominados para los Grammy 2019 y, como cada año, estamos tan sorprendidos como decepcionados con sus nominaciones para estos premios que se entregarán el próximo 10 de febrero. Repasemos la lista: Lady Gaga y Christina Aguilera, entre las nominadas a los Grammy 2019.

¿Qué hicieron Lady Gaga y Cardi B juntas en los Grammy 2019?
Lady Gaga ha logrado estar presente tanto en la categoría de canción del año como en la de grabación del año gracias a su 'Shallow' con Bradley Cooper para la película 'A Star Is Born', y aparece también con el single 'Joanne' en mejor actuación pop vocal, entre otras. Vamos, que puede ser el gran año de Lady Gaga entre los Grammy y los Globos de Oro, en cuyas nominaciones está presente como cantante y como actriz. También hay que destacar que este año hay más espacio en las nominaciones de las 4 categorías principales: canción, grabación, disco del año y mejor nuevo artista, que pasan de 5 nominados a 8. Aun así, ¡enhorabuena, Gaga! Una de las sorpresas más impactantes ha sido la aparición de Christina Aguilera entre los nominados. Puede que su regreso con 'Liberation' haya pasado sin pena ni gloria, pero ha logrado 2 nominaciones: mejor dúo por 'Fall In Line' con Demi Lovato y mejor actuación R&B por 'Like I Do' con Goldlink. ¡Enhorabuena, Christina!
Otra sorpresa ha sido que Taylor Swift, la otrora niña mimada de los premios, solo tiene una nominación con 'Reputation', mejor disco de pop vocal, sin presencia de ninguno de sus singles entre el resto de categorías. Lo mismo le ha pasado a Beyoncé, que con su disco conjunto con Jay Z solo aparece en categorías menores. En menor medida, Ariana Grande también ha sido bastante ninguneada y sorprende no ver 'No Tears Left To Cry' entre las categorías principales. Se conforma con 'God Is A Woman' en mejor actuación por vocal y el disco 'Sweetener' como mejor disco pop vocal. Y Nicki Minaj con sus chorrocientos singles, colaboraciones y polémicas ha logrado un total de 0 nominaciones. ¡Brava!
Volviendo a las categorías principales, encontramos en disco del año a Drake, Cardi B, Post Malone o Janelle Monáe, y los dos primeros parece que son los que más papeletas tienen para salir como grandes triunfadores de los premios.
