Sólo hemos tenido 2 singles de '1000 Forms Of Fear', pero Sia ya está pensando en su siguiente disco. Bueno, más que pensando, es que Sia ya tiene listo nuevo disco. Hace un tiempo había dicho que preparara 2 discos, pero en una reciente entrevista con NME da más detalles. Entre otros, reconoce que su último disco presentando por el hitazo 'Chandelier' lo lanzó porque estaba obligada por contrato: "Basically, I put this out to get out of my publishing deal. I was planning to be a pop song writer for other artists. But my publishing deal was as an artist so I had to put one more album out. I didn’t want to get famous so I kept all the songs I wanted and had a lot of fun making it".

El nuevo disco de Sia se llamará 'This Is Acting' porque estará formado por canciones que estaba componiendo para otras personas. Ya sabes que Sia compone 11 de cada 10 canciones para estrellas pop. Así habla de él: "I’m super productive. I have a full album ready to go and it’s much more pop. I’m calling it ‘This Is Acting’ because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn’t go in thinking ‘this is something I would say.’ It’s more like play-acting.
