Solo les supera Kendrick Lamar, que arrasa con un total de 11 nominaciones. ¡Casi nada! Detrás de ellos tenemos a Drake, con 5 nominaciones, o Alabama Shakes, que se llevan 4.

'1989' de Taylor Swift competirá en "album of the year" y "best pop vocal album", el single 'Blank Space' está nominada a "song of the year", "record of the year" y "best pop solo performance", mientras que 'Bad Blood' con Kendrick Lamar aparece en "best music video" y "best pop duo / group performance".

Solo 'Blank Space' de Taylor Swift y 'Thinking Out Loud' de su amigo Ed Sheeran compiten tanto en "song of the year" como en "record of the year". En la categoría de "best new artist" se ha hablado mucho de la nominación a Meghan Trainor, que competirá con James Bay, Tori Kelly, Sam Hunt y Courtney Barnett.
